Noble Gas (Dragon) Elemental Print

Noble Gas (Dragon) Elemental Print

$25.00

I painted every noble gas as a dragon. Their colors are dictated by the color they glow when electrified.

Helium is the first noble gas, as old in this universe as Hydrogen. His eyes are focused on the distant adventures awaiting this untameable spirit.

Neon is a vivid orange-red when put in a glass vacuum tube and electrified, and was the first to be used in such technology.

Argon is used to prevent oxidation in welding and in food storage. Its name means “sleepy.”

Krypton, the “hard to know” one (hence the name), is often utilized in lighting.

Xenon, unlike the others, can be coaxed to form bonds with another element, namely fluorine. But only in very specific circumstances.

Radon is a dangerous gas, odorless and carcinogenic. It is a product of radioactive decay in granite. Its dragon form is glowing to signify radioactivity.

Oganesson has unknowable traits. We only know it is synthetic and radioactive and a member of the noble gas group. For all these reasons, it is here represented as a masked, cyberpunk, glowing dragon. It is also the last element in the table.

Pick your favorite and hang it as a 9”×12” archival print.
