Strontium is often associated with nuclear fallout, but that is only one of its isotopes. For the most part, strontium is a good little goblin. It has been used in toothpaste, and to extract sugar from beets. The human body does occasionally confuse it for calcium and store it in bones accordingly; as long as it's not Sr90, that is just dandy.
